Here are a few events coming up in the life of our church:
November 7th from 6 - 10:30pm: WORD Youth Progressive Dinner Event
Cost is free. Please bring a friend. Volunteers needed for each of the 4 courses of our meal.
November 26th @ 7pm: Annual Thanksgiving Testimony Service
Come for an evening of thankfulness as we sing and give testimonies of God's blessings in each of our lives.
November 28th @ 7pm: WORD Youth Lifehouse Skit Rehearsal
Come prepared to work exclusively on this evangelistic skit production. Only those in the skit need to attend this event.
What is Dearborn Baptist Church's purpose?
To Teach the Bible
Dearborn Baptist Church is a Bible-centered church with an emphasis on expository Bible preaching and teaching.
To Emphasize Worship
The church assembles corporately to worship God as a unified, local body of believers.
To Evangelize Unbelievers
Both in our public meetings and in our personal lives, the members of DBC are encouraged to witness for Christ.
To Strengthen Families
The home is very important to us. We want to help build strong marriages and strong family units within our church.
To Reach the Next Generation
Children and teens have a special place in our church. We gladly invest much time, energy, and money into our youth ministries.
To Support Missionaries
We are interested in the Gospel being preached and churches being planted in every nation through the use of God-called missionaries from other local independent Baptist churches.
To Encourage an Active, Ministering Membership
Every member of Dearborn Baptist Church is encouraged to become actively involved in any of our many facets of Gospel ministry.
To Provide Opportunities for Christian Fellowship
Lifelong friendships are forged here at DBC through our many special events and activities for people of all ages.
